Cryoskin: the provider-friendly fat reduction tissue tightening cellulite smoothing machine

Cryoskin

“We want to build a community of successful entrepreneurs who empower their clients to be comfortable in their own skin.”  Offering a unique ‘Free 30 day trial,’ extensive education and training, marketing assistance, and ongoing support, and with over 1500 (and growing) Cryoskin partners, Artemis Distribution is truly a “partner in aesthetics and wellness.”

Cryoskin.  We’ve only recently learned about it (where have we been?!).  We wanted to learn more about this non-invasive machine for both the body and the face - brought to the US by a company with undeniably unique (and wonderful) programs for providers.  So we asked Delaney Allen-Mills, Director of Partner Training and Quality at Artemis Distribution, to tell us all about Cryoskin.

Here’s what we learned.

Do you have a business with a commercial location?  Please read on to learn about Crysokin, but don’t miss the good news at the end of the article wherein we discuss

  • How you do not need a physician to obtain Cryoskin
  • How you may be able to try Cryoskin out for a FREE 30 day trial
  • How you may have the affordable option to lease, rather than purchase, a Cryoskin

Differences between the Cryoskin 3.0 and Cryoskin 4.0

There are two models of the Cryoskin available, Cryoskin 3.0 and Cryoskin 4.0.

Cryoskin 3.0 utilizes a manual wand with a massage technique to slim the body and smooth the skin.

Cryoskin 4.0 contains all of the capabilities of the 3.0, plus a suite of hands free static applicators and electrolymphatic (EMS) drainage pads.  With the 4.0, the body contouring technician can set the client up and leave the room.

The rest is pretty much the same.  Cryoskin 3.0 and 4.0 work the same and address the same issues on the same areas of the body

Both Cryokin models deliver three treatments using sub-zero temperatures.

  • CryoSlimming
  • CryoToning
  • CryoFacial

CryoSlimming

Mechanism of Action

Both machines deliver cold-zero temperatures to trigger apoptosis (a controlled fat cell destruction).  Just about any area on the body is treatable with the CryoSlimming, with the exception of glandular areas like the breasts.  As Delaney said, you can treat as long as you can “pinch an inch.”

Treatments

Although treatment plans are customized, most clients require a series of 5 CryoSlimming treatments that should be spaced two weeks apart.  This spacing is needed to allow for the lymphatic system’s natural process to fully eliminate the lipids and other debris left behind from the treatment.

Treatment Experience

Though freezing temperatures are applied, most clients find the CryoSlimming treatment completely tolerable, and some even find it relaxing. Delaney says it’s best described as a deep tissue ice massage.

The client undergoing treatment with a 3.0 will feel a massage sensation, while the client undergoing the 4.0 has a different experience with the static applicators - and should expect to feel a tingling in the calves where the lympho-electrodes are placed.

Side Effects

Some clients experience redness and/or itchiness.  And most clients should expect to see an increase in urination, and more regular bowel movements as a result of increased lymphatic system function.

Post Treatment

CryoSlimming clients should be educated about how the body is working post treatment, and instructed to maintain a balanced diet and lifestyle while undergoing the series of treatments.

Results, ROI, Client Satisfaction, Recommended Pricing

Cryoskin clinical studies show an average of a 19% reduction in subcutaneous fat after a CryoSlimming tretment series.

Delaney told us that the ROI for the Cryoskin is “very high.  Clients are very satisfied.”

Recommended pricing for CryoSlimming is $350/treatment or $1500/package of 5 treatments, with ‘floor pricing’ at 250/treatment.

Maintenance Schedule

Delaney told us that maintenance treatments are generally recommended “fairly far out,” especially if the client is compliant with a healthy diet and lifestyle.  Two maintenance treatments every six months is a good general rule.

CryoToning & CryoFacial

Age-related Issues, Skin Treatments

Both CryoToning and CryoFacial address age-related issues and affect the dermal layers, not the subcutaneous tissue.

CryoToning - cellulite and flaccid skin.  CryoFacial - age related sagging, lines, and wrinkles.

Treatments

Treatments involve a relaxing repetition of upward strokes with alternating heat and cold sensations.  Cold from the wand and warmth from the hand.  Delaney noted that the CryoFacial creates a similar sensation to that of a cold jade roller - that stays cold.

Treatment Areas and Treatment Schedules

CryoToning can be used for those glandular areas like the breasts, that cannot be treated with CryoSlimming.  And as with CryoSlimming, CryoToning can be used just about anywhere on the body.  CryoToning treatments are usually recommended 1-2 times per week for a series of 5-10 treatments.

CryoFacial is indicated for the face and neck.  CryoFacial treatments are generally done once per week for five weeks.

Maintenance

Compared to CryoSlimming, maintenance treatments will be needed sooner and more frequently with CryoToning and CryoFacial - due to the aging process.  For CryoToning, a maintenance schedule of one treatment every two to three months is generally seen and for CryoFacial, one to two treatments at about every two months can be expected.

Recommended Pricing

CryoToning body treatments should be priced the same as CryoSlimming at $350/treatment and $1500/series of five.  CryoFacial treatments are generally set at $250 each.

Unique Benefits of adding Cryoskin to your business

Two Different Purchase Options

As long as you already have an established business in a commercial location, you may qualify to purchase or lease a Cryoskin.

There are two options.  (1) A Purchase Option and (2) a unique (and we think very appealing) Subscription Option.  The Subscription Option includes a 30 day Free Trial and it has no minimum term.   There are some other requirements to qualify, so reach out to us and we’ll help you out.

Extensive Training

Artemis offers an extensive hybrid training.  You start out with an extensive online training covering everything about a Cryoskin practice, from start to finish.  Then comes hands-on training, which can be done in any one of their sixteen US training centers - or even in your place of business.

Highly Complementary

Cryoskin treatments are highly complementary with other services.  You can easily design effective combination therapies to benefit your clients.

Low Consumable Costs

The only consumable cost for Cryoskin is the Cryoskin gel.  And you get a supply included with both the purchase and the subscription options.  You can purchase more if needed.
