Our science-based medspa vibration therapy formula for menopausal bone loss

Women ‘shrink in height’ at midlife and beyond. Menopausal bone loss is to blame. And let’s face it. Losing inches of height drastically changes a woman’s body shape. Not to mention the increased risk for fractures involved with bone loss. As med spa owners/operators, we know firsthand the toll that menopause can take on a woman’s body. For twenty years, we’ve used science-based therapies to assist women in fighting them. One of those body shaping treatments is our whole-body vibration therapy formula for menopausal bone loss. It strengthens bones, corrects posture, slims the torso and improves overall body shape ….all in just a few minutes a day. Sounds too good to be true? In this article, we’ll show you it is true as we walk you through the biological changes of menopause and detail the science-backed mechanisms of vibration therapy that fight menopausal bone loss and deliver an improved and more youthful body shape.

Reasons why menopausal bone loss changes the shape of a woman’s body
What happens to a woman’s bones during menopause?
- Declining estrogen levels lead to bone loss
Falling estrogen levels during menopause disrupts the balance of bone formation and bone breakdown. As a result, bone breakdown outpaces bone formation which leads to a significant loss of bone.
On average, menopausal women lose 25% of their bone mass by age 60.
- High fracture risks as a result of menopausal bone loss
Menopausal bone loss can lead to osteoporosis (the clinical term for reduced bone density and bone mass). Osteoporosis makes bones more susceptible to fractures.
Eighty percent of women develop osteoporosis and approximately 50% of menopausal women experience a fracture related to osteoporosis.
In what ways does menopausal bone loss change a woman’s body shape?
I. Shrinking in height
Women shrink in height as a result of menopause due to both loss of bone mass and bone density, which affects the spinal vertebrae. This shrinking in height deleteriously affects a woman’s body shape.
Major changes in a woman’s body shape caused by shrinking in height
Thicker, shorter torso and protruding abdomen
- Thicker waistline: Menopausal bone loss leaves the torso of the body shorter and more compact…leaving less room for the curves of a waist.
- Protruding abdomen: Menopausal bone loss shortens the torso which often results in a bigger, bulging abdomen.
Apple shaped body: The compressed space in the trunk often creates an ‘apple shaped’ torso.
II. Stooping posture
The loss of bone in the spinal vertebrae changes (compresses) the spinal structure and leads to a condition called kyphosis. Kyphosis is the clinical term used to describe the stooping posture commonly seen in post-menopausal women.
The menopausal muscle loss and muscle weakness exacerbates both (1) the thicker torso and protruding abdomen and (2) the postural changes associated with a stooping posture.
This is all so awful. But there is good news!
Menopausal women can both (1) prevent (start early), and/or (2) correct these changes in body shape caused by menopausal bone loss.
Our science-based medspa vibration therapy formula for menopausal bone loss works!
Let’s take a look at all of the available treatment options for menopausal bone loss.
III. Muscle loss exacerbates the thicker, shorter torso, protruding abdomen and stooping posture
The health of muscle and bone are highly interconnected; menopausal bone loss accelerates the muscle loss associated with menopause and aging.
What are the treatment options for the bone loss associated with menopause?
1. Medical management
- Personalized medical management.
- Several long term prescription medication options are available, as well as prescription hormonal options. All of these meds can slow the progression of menopausal bone loss. This is a decision that should be made between the menopausal woman and her physician.
2. DIY and lifestyle options for management of menopause related bone loss
- Supplements
To maintain bone health during menopause, women can consider supplementing:
- Vitamin D3
- Vitamin K2
- Time-released Calcium
- Magnesium Glycinate
- Diet rich in bone building nutrients
To assist in maintaining bone health during menopause, women can consume:
- Foods rich in calcium
- Adequate protein
- Foods containing Vitamin D
- Exercise
To build bones (and muscle) during menopause, women can consider incorporating:
-
- Weight-bearing exercises: Walking, dancing, jogging
-
- Strength training: Weight lifting, resistance bands
-
- Balance exercises (to prevent falls):Tai Chi, Yoga
BUT
Most women are missing…
And should incorporate…

Are you wondering how ONE technology can do so much?
How our vibration formula for menopausal bone loss works:
vibration therapy’s mechanism of action
Vibration therapy affects every system of the body - including bone and muscle…all in a positive way.
⇨ The physiological benefits of our vibration therapy formula for menopausal bone loss
- Improves bone density, mass and strength
- Strengthens and tones muscles
- Improves balance
⇨ As well as other benefits that lead to a better body shape
- Promoting weight loss
⇨ Vibration therapy delivers an improved body shape!
Now let’s break the science and physiology down…
Here’s how our vibration therapy formula for menopausal bone loss provides the benefits.
- Force (Gravity) (stimulates bones, improves bone density, mass and strength)
- The whole body vibration machine produces a vibrating side-to-side and back-and-forth motion generating forces upon the body from 1G to 6G’s, depending on the amplitude and frequency of the settings used.
- By creating this safe and controlled mechanical stress on the body, it stimulates the bones to adapt and become denser and stronger.
- Muscle Micro-Adjustments (strengthens muscle and improves balance)
- When standing on the vibration therapy machine, every muscle in the body is forced to react in a continuous flow of micro-adjustments...contracting...then relaxing...rapidly, repeatedly and reflexively.
- This can engage up to 98% of the muscle fibers, producing big rewards in just a short amount of time.
- The up-and-down motion improves muscle tone and strengthens muscles.
- The side-to-side and front-to-back motion improves balance.
- Neuromuscular Stimulation (provides the ability to produce multiple benefits)
- What causes the multiple beneficial physiological changes? The rapid-firing of the muscles causes a neuromuscular response that flows through the entire body.
What body shape improvements can you expect from our vibration therapy formula for menopausal bone loss?
- A slimmer abdomen and torso
- More feminine curves
- A more erect posture
- Better muscle tone and strength
- A more youthful body shape
